1) Application
Unit protector ( type: GRT-1 pair) consists of gas discharge tube, PTC, fuse, LED, metal reed and fire-retardant plastic cover. It is used in the IDC termination module for one-pair line's protection against over-voltage and over-current, and it also has the functions of fail safe and LED lighting alarming.

b) Insulation Resistance: more than 1000Mohm;
c) Contact Resistance: less than 7mohm;
d) DC Spark-over Voltage(100v/s): 190v~260v;
e) Impulse Spark-over Voltage(1kv/µs): less than or equal to 800v;
f) Fail Safe: earthing within 15 seconds when discharging current reachs 2.5Amps;
g) Alarming: LED lighting after operation of fail safe device;
h) Overcurrent Protection: non-operation lasting for 60 seconds under current 110mA
( 60VDC) ;
i) Normal Resistance : < 22 ohm
j) Resistance Difference between line a and line b : < 2 ohm
