22.  Digital Distribution Frame (DDF)

1)  Application & Main Technical Data

Digital distribution frames (DDF) are greatly used in s ystems of transmitting and receiving of digital signals in telecommunications networks.Main technical data are as follows: 
- Characteristic Impedance: 75 ohm;
- Data Rate: 2Mb/s, 8Mb/s, 34Mb/s, 140Mb/s, 155Mb/s;
- Coaxial Connetor Contact Resistance:  not more than 5 mohm ( out conductor, press-connection); not more than 10 mohm (inner conductor, welding-connection);
- Insulation Resistance: more than 1000Mohm ( under 500v, DC );
- Dielectric Strengh: more than 1000v, under 50Hz, AC, without break-down and flying arc during 1 minute;
- Cross-Talk Guard: more than 70dB ( 50kHz ~ 210MHz );
- Insertion Loss: less than 0.3dB ( 50kHz ~ 210MHz );
- Return Loss: 18dB ( 50kHz ~ 210MHz );
- Pull-off Force: more than 50N;
- Frequency of Connection Operations: not less than 500 times

2) SM-Series of Digital Distribution Frame

connector Unit (SM-JT series): Y-connector, socket & cable plug

a)  Connector Unit: One set of connector unit consists of one piece of Y-plug, two pieces of sockets, and two pieces of cable plugs;
b)  Patch Panel: Connector units are fitted on patch panel, and two sets of connector units fitted on patch panel constitute one system for receiving and transmitting signals. Patch panels with different capacities and dimensions are available. The patch panels can be turned down 90 degrees on frame, and they can be taken out from the frame at the angle of 45 degrees for convenient operation;
c)  SM-Series of Digtal Distribution Frame: Patch panels are mounted on frames with different sizes according to customers' requirement.

a)  Connector Unit: One set of connector unit consists of one piece of plug cord (117mm), two pieces of sockets, and two pieces of cramping sleeves;
b)  Patch Panel: Connector units are fitted on patch panel, and two sets of connector units fitted on patch panel constitute one system for receiving and transmitting signals. Patch panels with different capacities and dimensions are available. The patch panels can be turned down 90 degrees on frame for convenient operation;
c)  NE-Series of Digtal Distribution Frame: Patch panels are mounted on frames with different sizes according to customers' requirement.
