4. Gas Discharge Tube (Arrester)

　

1)  Application

2-pole and 3-pole gas discharge tubes (arresters) are used for protecting network against over-voltage. Besides, the 3-pole gas discharge tubes also have the function of fail-safe. They are fitted in protector magazine, and then the protector magazine is inserted in IDC termination module mounted on back mount frame.

2)  2-Pole Gas Discharge Tube (2P-230 & 2P-250) 

a) Diameter of Tube: 8.0mm;  b) Axial Length: 6.0mm.

a) Diameter of Tube: 7.5mm;  b) Axial Length: 12mm;
